Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Engineer at AKSSN Engineering Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in developing new customers, managing existing accounts, providing technical solutions, and achieving sales targets for carbide tooling products and Machining Solutions. Your responsibilities will involve a combination of technical expertise and strong customer relationship skills to drive business growth and success. Key Responsibilities: - Sales & Business Development - Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned regions. - Generate enquiries and convert them into orders to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Conduct market mapping of industries utilizing cutting tools and Machining Solutions. - Technical Support - Understand customer machining applications and recommend suitable cutting inserts, tools, and grades. - Conduct tool trials, collect performance data, and present cost-benefit analysis to clients. - Collaborate with R&D/technical team for special tool design and feasibility. - Customer Relationship Management - Conduct regular visits to customer plants for follow-up, trials, and training sessions. - Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with machine shop heads, purchase teams, and production managers. - Handle customer complaints efficiently and ensure timely resolution. - Reporting & Coordination - Prepare daily visit reports, sales forecasts, and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making. Qualification Required: - Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in cutting tools, carbide tooling, CNC machining, or metalworking industry. - Strong understanding of various machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, threading, and grooving. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to interpret technical drawings, tool specifications, and machining parameters. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively for business purposes.
