Sales Engineer - Aftermarket

As a Sales Engineer Aftermarket at Desoutter Industrial Tools in Chennai, your role will involve providing strategic solutions to customers for improving their productivity, quality, and uptime. You will be responsible for generating and preserving the service business in the allocated region, selling service products, and achieving company targets by identifying potential customers and their needs. Your duties and responsibilities will include: - Generating and preserving the service business in the allocated region - Selling service products and achieving company targets - Researching and identifying potential customers for services - Identifying customer needs and potential product/service concepts for existing customers - Analyzing and adapting new strategies to react to changing business trends - Managing objectives and plans through the field service team - Developing new accounts and improving market coverage - Mapping competition, segments, and preparing product presentations - Interacting daily with key accounts, internal and external customers - Planning and coordinating with the Product Sales Team, project, and customer support - Maintaining sales forecasting reports and following up on pending offers - Developing and delivering presentations to enhance the company and brand image Key Deliverables include achieving qualitative targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, generating new business, mapping the installed base for service business prospects, and presenting KPI & Success Stories to key customers. You will also be responsible for managing sales efficiency, customer visits optimization, and compliance with corporate guidelines. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive industrial experience in spare parts & service contracts sales, be willing to travel extensively, possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, efficiently multi-task, work a flexible schedule, be a strong team player, and have a strong understanding of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical test equipment. Additionally, you should hold a Degree/Diploma in Engineering (EEE/ECE/MECH) with at least 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, aftermarket, and service of industrial products. Proficiency in English and Tamil language is essential.
