Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer based in Mangalore, India, you will be responsible for researching and designing audio-visual and networking solutions based on construction drawings or site surveys. Your role will involve communicating with customers through various channels to address technical queries and propose optimal solutions. Additionally, you will evaluate project cost estimates and collaborate with the estimation team to create accurate proposals using DTools. Your key responsibilities will include outbound calling for lead generation to establish new opportunities with prospective customers, using your excellent verbal skills to engage customers effectively and determine their needs. You should have the ability to read and understand cabling pull schedules, floor plans, and other technical diagrams, along with strong communication skills to convey issues to management. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of signal flow, audio-visual components, connector types, and control/automation systems such as Crestron, AMX, and Extron. A methodical approach to tasks and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential qualities. Freshers with 0-2 years of experience are welcome to apply, provided they hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field. The work location for this position is in Mangalore, Karnataka. Please note that remote work options are not currently available. Basic knowledge of networking, fiber optics, and cabling infrastructure, as well as experience and certifications with AV manufacturers and equipment, are desirable qualifications for this role.
