Sales Development Manager

The Sales Development Manager (SDM) will play a key role in driving sales development for the Editron business in India, collaborating closely with the Sales Teams and BU Organizations. This position requires a combination of technical and commercial expertise, aligned with strategic initiatives to support the business effectively. Responsibilities for this role include: - Conducting data analysis to identify potential focus applications and defining segmentation with priority. - Driving system value proposition assumptions for Editron Focus Application. - Developing and supporting win plans as a project manager for Focus Application, ensuring the achievement of expected results. - Creating a product sales strategy, including 4P (Product, Place, Promotion, and Price) for the hotspot. - Direct involvement in sales activities for the Focus Application, targeting customers where necessary. - Supporting the development, sharing, and application of Value Selling materials and tools, collaborating with PAE and PMM to create value propositions for products and solutions. - Monitoring key opportunity progress and taking necessary actions to secure new win targets. - Collaborating with BU leaders on price excellence, providing input on acceptable price levels with a clear value proposition against competitors, and executing price strategy. - Assisting PMM with business cases, PDP processes, and product launch plans, taking responsibility for product launch execution in the market. - Coordinating resources to achieve BU sales targets and SQDC (safety-quality-delivery-cost) targets. - Providing recommendations and inputs for BU sales planning. - Sharing Editron updates with Sales, conducting trainings with PAEs on technical and commercial topics, and organizing Technology Days at customer sites to demonstrate DPS capabilities and win business. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Experience of 8-10 years. - A Bachelor's degree in electric/automobile/mechanical engineering. - Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in customer relationship management. - Strong English reading, writing, and oral communication skills. - Proficiency in tools to document customer information, needs, and requests, as well as running reports on overall business performance. - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for generating reports and customer presentation material.
