Internship Overview

As a Sales and Customer Success Intern, your role is to support and engage with Zomunk’s users while also driving conversions and retention. You will gain hands-on experience across customer support, refund handling, and sales-focused activities like retention calls and feedback collection. This internship will expose you to how a fast-growing travel-tech startup operates, giving you the chance to directly influence user satisfaction and growth.


Key Responsibilities


Customer Success

  • Provide timely and friendly support via calls, email, and social media.
  • Assist users with platform navigation, account issues, and premium subscription queries.
  • Handle refund-related queries with empathy and clarity, aiming to retain users wherever possible.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.


Sales & Retention

  • Conduct retention calls to encourage users to continue with Zomunk Premium.
  • Conduct feedback calls with premium users to gather insights and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Contribute to conversions by guiding users through the value of Zomunk’s services.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on retention and user satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Interest in sales, customer engagement, and the travel industry (knowledge of Google Flights, Skyscanner, etc. is a plus).
  • Empathetic, patient, and professional when dealing with users.
  • A genuine interest in learning how to balance sales and customer success in a startup environment.
