Job Description

Sales & Application Manager

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a territory

    Orders & Sales plan

    focused on driving market growth and penetration within Pharmaceutical and Biotech accounts.
  • Develop deep

    technical and market expertise

    on products and applications, utilizing this knowledge to provide both

    pre- and post-sales support

    for key accounts.
  • Accurately forecast

    Orders and Sales bookings

    on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and conduct compelling

    sales presentations

    , addressing all relevant areas up to the client's board level.
  • Demonstrate technical equipment and provide customers with essential technical pre-sales support.
  • Identify opportunities in existing and new accounts and actively support third-party channels.
  • Identify and target decision-making and buying centers within client organizations.
  • Establish clear objectives and action plans for the assigned territory, maintaining up-to-date customer databases.
  • Develop strong individual working relationships with customers, gaining in-depth knowledge of their needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain in-depth expertise of key applications within Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences markets.
  • Recommend and participate in relevant

    trade shows and local industry associations

  • Provide management with continuous

    market intelligence

    through monthly reports, observations of customer needs, and competitive activities.
  • Recommend actions needed to improve market share in the region.
  • Closely interact with and report to the India Sales Account Manager.
  • Act as a customer's advocate, providing after-sale troubleshooting and support for any issues.
  • Support the service profit center to grow revenue.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
