Role & responsibilities As a Sales Manager specializing in Process Control Instruments, you will lead efforts to drive business growth through effective management of customer relationships and acquisition of new clients. Your role will involve promoting the company's product portfolio, achieving sales targets, and offering technical expertise to address customer needs. Role responsibilities: Product Presentations: Create and deliver presentations or proposals that clearly explain the specifications and applications of the company's products to potential customers. Lead Generation and Follow-Up: Identify and generate high-quality sales leads. After initial meetings with customers, follow up to secure purchase orders and close deals. Sales Target Achievement: Set and consistently achieve sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis, driving revenue growth for the company. Technical Support: Provide customers with clear and accurate technical clarifications about the company's instrument products and solutions, ensuring they understand how the products meet their needs. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, understand customer needs, and stay updated on industry trends and competitors. Customer Training: Organize and conduct training sessions for customers on the effective use and maintenance of the company's products. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to communicate customer feedback and ensure products meet market demands. Product Demonstrations: Arrange and conduct product demonstrations for potential clients, showcasing the benefits and features of the company's instruments. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback, and provide regular reports to management. Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote the company's products. Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Familiarity with Pharma-related Process Control Instruments is a significant advantage, as this knowledge will help in catering to clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
