Job Summary: The Solar Product Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of solar energy products and services, managing customer relationships, and promoting solar solutions to potential clients. This role involves direct interaction with customers, identifying their needs, providing tailored solutions, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, an interest in renewable energy, and the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of solar products. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Generate leads and identify potential clients for solar products, including residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target segments. Promote and sell solar energy products such as solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems. Present and demonstrate solar solutions to prospective clients, emphasizing the benefits and ROI (return on investment) of solar energy. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Provide customer consultations to understand their energy needs and recommend appropriate solar products. Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly. Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their satisfaction and secure repeat business. Product Knowledge and Consultation: Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technology, products, and industry trends. Educate clients about the features, benefits, and potential savings of solar solutions. Provide tailored recommendations based on a client’s energy usage and goals. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations, both in-person and virtually, to potential customers. Create customized proposals and quotations for clients based on their specific needs. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to close sales while ensuring profitability. Sales Targets and Reporting: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs (key performance indicators). Track sales activities and client interactions in CRM software. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional strategies and campaigns. Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure the timely and successful installation of solar products. Provide customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings. Networking and Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote solar products and increase brand awareness. Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and other partners in the solar industry.
