Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Description:

We are looking for a Safety Trainee to join our team in the shipyard. The candidate will assist the Safety Department in ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting
a safe work environment during ship repair and new shipbuilding operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, or Safety Engineering.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / Industrial Safety certification (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, IMO, ISM Code).
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the marine/shipyard industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Safety Officers in implementing workplace safety protocols.
• Monitor shipyard areas to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Support in accident/incident reporting and investigation.
• Conduct inspections of scaffolding, welding, confined spaces, and equipment.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and checklists.
• Assist in emergency preparedness drills and fire safety measures.
