Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Ensure safety policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
Conduct trainings as per schedule and safety themes.
Facilitate monthly Safety Apex Committee meetings.
Maintain R&P (Rules & Procedures) tracker.
Conduct monthly Safety Interaction (SI) sessions.
Update safety dashboards and steering reports.
Organize Safety R&R programs and town halls.
Monitor permit systems for proper issuance and closure.
Conduct routine equipment and facility inspections.
Perform daily plant rounds to identify unsafe acts/conditions.
Ensure vehicle safety in shipping areas.
Celebrate safety days/weeks to raise awareness.
Conduct inductions for new hires, visitors, and contractors.
Enforce VBL safety standards with pillar heads.
Conduct and ensure compliance with internal and external safety audits.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
Report, investigate, document incidents.
Prepare monthly safety progress reports for management.
Monitor safety permit systems and procedures.
Collaborate with plant and regional safety managers for critical activities and approvals.
Coordinate with the plant team to ensure smooth and safe operations and advise management on safety terms.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Experience- 4yrs

Education- B.Sc/M.Sc & *Diploma in ADIS (2021-2022 Pass out)
