Safety Officer

The Safety Officer is a crucial member of our team dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards will be a key part of your duties. In the event of accidents or incidents, you will investigate, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions. Providing safety training to employees on topics such as emergency response, PPE usage, and hazard communication will also be part of your responsibilities. It is important to collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety awareness. Maintaining records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities will also be required. To excel in this role, proficiency in OSHA regulations and standards is essential. Experience in training development for safety programs, strong report writing skills for incident documentation, and the ability to devise solutions to improve workplace safety are also important. A good understanding of occupational health practices, workers" compensation processes, and EHS principles is necessary. CPR certification is preferred, along with knowledge of workers" compensation laws and regulations, and proficiency in root cause analysis techniques.
