Job Description

Role & responsibilities To advise the departmental heads, supervisors and other such officers in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries. To advise on safety aspects in all job studies, and to carry out detailed job safety studies of selected jobs. To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries. To advise the personnel of store purchase department in ensuring high quality and availability of personal protective equipment's etc. To advise on matters relating to carrying out plant safety inspections. To render advice on matters relating to reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and diseases. To investigate the cases of industrial disease contracted and dangerous occurrences reportable under Rules 110 and 112 of the Uttar Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950. Daily inspection of the area before issuing the permit to work. Daily taking round of the plant and identifying the unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Daily inspection of Forklifts and maintaining the records for the same . Daily checking of access control documents at all the main gates. Ensuring the Vehicle Inspection of associates on monthly basis. Ensuring the Monthly Audit of Equipment's and tagging.
