Safety Officer ( FGD Project)

Qualification

Diploma/ Graduate in any engineering with Post Diploma/advance diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university

For Diploma in engineering 5 years minimum experience

For B tech/BE 3 years minimum experience in EPC Power projects /oil & gas/ chemical/Heavy civil infra etc.

Experience

1. Have handled civil foundation works, mechanical erections activities.

1. Should be able to understand all communications, specifications, Standards, Manuals, and procedures

1. Delivering induction training & competency check of workmen.

1. Candidate must have hands on experience in different safety Inspections (Construction equipment, lifting tools & tackles, power tools) at site.

1. Basic Knowledge of scaffolding & electrical safety.

1. Have handled height works, hot works, Confined space, heavy Lifting, LOTO & related permits.

1. Conducting on job safety trainings.

1. Preparation of reports, Documentation (MS Office Excel, word, & Power point)

1. Experience in construction of RCC chimney is desirable

1. Identifying of Unsafe acts/Unsafe conditions and record making

1. Preparation of Hazard identification risk assessments (HIRA), audit/inspection reports

1. Communication skills with client & contractor.

1. Organize and carry out/co-ordinate Inspections with subcontractors.

1. Leadership Skills to get the HSE reequipments complied form Subcon and CE.

1. Never give up attitude, confident in natural

1. Strong decision-making Stop work when found unsafe acts & conditions by coordinating with Site EHS Head.

1. Shall coordinate & follow-up with sub-contractor safety team & staff for closing of site observations

1. Coordination for different safety programs.

1. Should be able to understand the Legal requirements and initiate actions to comply

1. Good analytical skills, to evaluate the Audit Nonconformities, identify Root cause initiate corrective action plan

1. Good Investigation skills
