This senior role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management processes, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Identify project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all project activities align with client requirements, industry regulations, and safety standards. 2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure clear communication and collaboration between all team members, stakeholders, and external partners. 3. Design & Engineering: Oversee the design and engineering ensuring compliance with structural and safety requirements. Collaborate with design teams to ensure that all technical drawings, specifications, and documents meet project requirements. Review and approve designs and engineering calculations to ensure quality and functionality. 4. Quality & Safety: Ensure that all projects adhere to high safety standards and compliance with local and international regulations. Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that work meets the required standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure the correct implementation of quality and safety protocols. 5. Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring effective communication and relationship management. Manage client expectations, address concerns, and provide solutions to any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and authorities to ensure that all permits and licenses are obtained. 6. Budget and Cost Control: Develop detailed cost estimates for silo and tank projects and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure cost-effective project execution by identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing resources efficiently. Oversee procurement of materials and services and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost control. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, reports, and schedules. Prepare and present regular progress reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure that all project deliverables and documentation are completed on time and archived for future reference. Required Qualifications: Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the engineering industry, specifically with Thermal power plant/oil and gas/ petrochemical/Chimney Projects. Role & responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Chimney Fabrication Design and develop structural drawings for chimneys Select appropriate materials (MS, SS, etc.) based on environmental and load conditions Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, welding, and surface treatment Coordinate with vendors and contractors for Manpower & raw material Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Laser Cutting Machine Operations Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines based on job specifications Program machines for cutting, engraving, and shaping various metals Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality standards Preferred candidate profile Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in fabrication and laser cutting operations Proficiency in CAD software and CNC programming Knowledge of welding standards and safety protocols Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
