Safety Officer

Roles and Responsibilities Conduct safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system (SMS) in accordance with industry standards. Provide training on industrial safety procedures, emergency response planning, and risk identification techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policies and procedures for ensuring workplace safety. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to occupational health & safety (OHS). Desired Candidate Profile 4-7 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in an engineering or construction company. Diploma holder from a recognized institution; additional certifications like NEBOSH IGC would be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of SMS principles, OHS regulations, risk identification methods, and industrial safety practices.
