Job Description

Job Role:

Company

Carry out
daily plant inspections
from a safety perspective (unsafe acts and unsafe conditions).
Identify and report unsafe acts (e.g., working without PPE, improper handling of hazardous materials, welding without protective gear) and unsafe conditions (e.g., unguarded machines, chemical spillage, corroded cable trays).
Coordinate with respective departments to implement
corrective actions
for safety deviations.
Conduct
counselling sessions
with shop-floor employees to ensure PPE compliance and maintain records.
Monitor and review
work permits
such as:

Working at height
Hot work
Vessel entry
Cold work
Excavation work

Organize and conduct
safety training sessions
for staff and workmen; maintain proper training records.
Support and participate in
mock drills
as per schedule.
Assist in
safety awareness activities
such as displaying posters, SOPs, one-page MSDS, and safety slogans.
Prepare and submit
monthly safety activity reports
.
Conduct
daily toolbox talks
with workers.
Monitor
high-risk activities
and overall plant safety aspects.
Perform
special safety assignments
as and when required.
