Job Title: Assistant Manager- Safety

Location: Baran, Rajasthan, Anuppur (MP) & Bhagalpur (Bihar)

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager-Safety to join our team in Anuupur and Bhagalpur. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in the Power industry and will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. The role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Associate Manager-Safety will have the following key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions
• Oversee safety training programs for all employees and contractors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety compliance in all operational activities
• Provide leadership and guidance to the safety team, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability
• Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend continuous improvements to the safety management system.

Experience

• 10-12 years of experience in the Power industry
• Factory Act knowledge - Safety.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing safety protocols and procedures
• Proven track record of conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
• Experience in overseeing safety compliance and training programs
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in B.tech / B.E (Regular) and Diploma in Safety Management / Fire & safety.

Technical Skills

• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards in the Power industry
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and safety management software
