Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Implement, monitor, and enforce
EHS policies
at site in line with project and statutory requirements
Prepare and review
HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
and
SOPs
as per site-specific activities
Conduct
toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs
for workmen and staff
Ensure compliance with
work at height, lifting operations, excavation, formwork, and concreting safety
Carry out
regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and recommend corrective & preventive actions
Maintain safety records, incident reports, near-miss reports, and daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
Coordinate with project, engineering, and client safety teams for smooth execution
Ensure compliance with client safety standards, especially in
industrial plant environments
Support statutory inspections and client audits

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or
Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety
3-8 years
of experience in
civil industrial projects
Strong experience in
high-rise buildings, heavy RCC structures, and industrial civil works
Prior experience in projects of Hindustan Zinc Limited will be highly preferred
Sound knowledge of
HIRA, SOP preparation, and site safety documentation
Good understanding of
Indian safety regulations & industrial safety practices
