Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure safety induction training to all workers and staff at site.

2. Guidance, allocation and monitoring of safety supervisors work.

3. Keep track of inspection of vehicles, construction machinery, tools and equipment and according to the checklist.

4. Ensure periodic safety trainings, safety induction, daily tool box meeting conducted for labors, staff and visitors.

5. Prepare/review risk assessment and method statements of routine and non-routine construction activities.

6. Recording of the correct/ incorrect safety practices followed at site and action taken for rectification of the same.

7. Ensure work permit system is implementation for all construction activities.

8. Arrangement of labor welfare programmers & motivational programs (Film, Demo, Talk etc.) for labors, staff and visitors.

9. Ensuring Doctor's visit to the labor camp and Pest control measures at site and offices.

10. Ensure on timely procurement of safety materials & effective utilization of the same.

11. Effective handling critical situations like accidents/ incidents and carrying out accident analysis, preventive measures to be taken.

12. Prepare and submit scheduled report about safety to HO under the guidance of Project In charge.

13. Performs emergency response drill.

14. Proactive measures taken for environment safety, housekeeping and to solve issues related to safety.

15. Effective coordination with other depts., HODs, HO, consultants & external agencies for smooth working.
