Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Implement and monitor project-specific HSE plans and ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements.
Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working conditions.
Supervise high-risk activities like tower erection, stringing, working at height, and heavy lifting.
Ensure proper use and availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all site personnel.
Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.
Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts/conditions; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and client representatives to coordinate safety measures.
Maintain all statutory records including safety permits, incident logs, inspection reports, etc.
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards and internal audit requirements.
Assist in the preparation of safety reports and documents required for regulatory and client submissions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Graduate in Engineering or Science with a Diploma in Industrial Safety
Minimum 4 to 9 years of experience in HSE roles in Transmission Line or Power Sector projects.
Experience in working on live EHV corridors is an added advantage.
Safety qualification: One year safety course/NEBOSH-IGC

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work anywhere in India
Must have valid 2-Wheeler Drivers License
Good communication skills in English & Hindi
