Role & responsibilities Role Overview Responsible for overseeing all quantity surveying, billing, and cost control functions for high-rise residential and commercial projects. Ensure accurate estimation, timely billing, cost monitoring, and compliance with contractual and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Quantity Surveying & Estimation Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) , cost estimates, and rate analysis for high-rise projects. Conduct material take-offs from drawings and site measurements. Review GFC drawings, tender documents, and contracts for scope clarity. Coordinate with design & engineering teams for quantity finalization. 2. Billing & Payments Prepare and certify client bills, subcontractor bills, and RA (Running Account) bills . Ensure timely submission of client bills as per contractual milestones Verify measurements jointly with site and contractors. Track work-in-progress and prepare progressive billing statements. 3. Cost Management & Control Maintain cost tracking sheets and variance reports. Identify cost overruns, scope changes, and propose corrective actions. Support value engineering initiatives for cost optimization. 4. Contract Management Review and interpret contract clauses related to billing and variations. Prepare and submit variation/claim statements with proper justification. Ensure compliance with statutory taxes (GST, TDS) and commercial terms. 5. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and finance teams. Prepare MIS reports on billing status, cash flow, and cost-to-complete. Attend client meetings for bill certification, dispute resolution, and progress reviews.
