Safety Engr Role & responsibilities Design safety features : Design safety features like airbags and seatbelts Research safety technologies : Research new safety technologies and test existing safety systems Work with design teams : Collaborate with automotive design and engineering teams Ensure regulatory compliance : Ensure that vehicles comply with safety regulations and standards Conduct risk assessments : Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them Conduct safety inspections : Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and fix potential hazards Develop safety policies and procedures : Develop safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of occupants Train staff : Train staff on safety protocols Investigate incidents : Investigate incidents to learn from them and improve safety Preferred candidate profile
