Job Description

Job Title: Safety Engineer & Safety Stewards

Project Type:

Experience: 3- 5 years

Role: Third Party (Through Zeppelin)

Preferred Candidate:

  • Candidates with Middle East project experience will have added advantage
  • Experience in shutdown, turnaround projects

Qualifications:

  • Safety Stewards:

    B.Sc. Fire & Safety / Diploma in Fire & Safety

  • Safety Engineer:

    Engineering Degree with PDIS qualification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and monitoring of safety practices at project site
  • Handling PTW, SWP, JSA, Risk Assessment, LOTOTO and shutdown activities
  • Contractor safety management and safe handling of equipment
  • Ensure legal compliance related to construction and modification works
  • Coordinate with Shift Manager during PTW and SWP activities
  • Conduct PTW audits and submit observations
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports
  • Incident, accident, unsafe act reporting within 30 minutes to EHSQ
  • Conduct morning TBT and last-minute risk assessments
  • Authorized to stop work and cancel permits in case of safety violations
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, values, CARE, and RCDB requirements

Additional Requirements (Safety Engineer):

  • Good communication skills in English
  • Hands-on experience in presentation preparation and delivery
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills
