Safety Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in safety engineering, with a strong background in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.
• Analyze accident reports and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with management to ensure a culture of safety within the organization.
• Investigate safety incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to safety engineering.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification in safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional - CSP, NEBOSH) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards in India.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and safety management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams.
• Experience with safety training programs and presentations.
• Familiarity with safety auditing tools and methodologies.
