Rug Designer

As a Rug Designer/Carpet Designer in our team based in Gurgaon, Haryana, you will play a crucial role in creating new collections that resonate with market trends and buyer preferences. With 3-6 years of experience in rug and carpet design, you will utilize your creative skills and understanding of aesthetics to develop innovative designs that align with the dynamic home furnishing industry. Your responsibilities will include designing new collections, developing mood boards and color palettes, and translating design concepts into production-ready artwork using software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and NedGraphics. Collaboration with sampling and production teams will be essential to ensure design feasibility and maintain high quality standards. Your ability to modify designs based on feedback and stay updated on industry trends will be instrumental in creating successful designs. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in rug or carpet design, preferably in export-focused companies. Proficiency in design software, a deep understanding of weaves, textures, and production methods, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail are key requirements. Your capacity to work independently as well as part of a team, along with effective time management skills, will contribute to your success in this position.
