Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate good CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills - Have at least 4 years of experience in building scalable and maintainable web applications - Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby on Rails - Be proficient in Git and have a solid understanding of databases like PostgreSQL and MYSQL - Design database schemas effectively with proper use of indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. - Work with in-memory databases such as Redis, Memcache, etc. - Write raw SQL queries proficiently and have experience with background job processing systems like Sidekiq, Delayed Jobs, etc. - Understand and implement REST APIs to build robust and scalable APIs - Write automated tests using RSpec or any other relevant framework - Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills Qualifications Required: - Good CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills - 4+ years of experience in building scalable and maintainable web apps, including 2+ years in Ruby on Rails - Proficiency in Git - Solid knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MYSQL - Experience in designing database schema with proper use of indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. - Hands-on experience with in-memory databases like Redis, Memcache, etc. - Proficiency in writing raw SQL queries - Familiarity with background job processing systems such as Sidekiq, Delayed Jobs, etc. - Understanding of REST APIs and experience in building robust, scalable APIs - Experience in writing automated tests using RSpec or any other relevant framework - Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team In addition to the above qualifications, the following would be considered a bonus: - Building responsive webpages using HTML, (S)CSS, JS - Experience in ReactJS - Building a Ruby Gem - Hands-on experience in DevOps - Experience with ElasticSearch - Previous use of AWS services We at Thrillophilia are excited to welcome individuals who are passionate about travel and possess the requisite skills to contribute effectively to our platform.,
