Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with 4+years experience responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, clean coding practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Ruby on Rails applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Design and implement robust APIs and backend logic.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and bug fixes to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize application performance and refactor existing code when necessary.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver new features.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
• Implement data security, protection, and backup strategies.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails framework.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred).
• Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of RSpec / Minitest for testing is a plus.
• Understanding of server-side rendering, MVC architecture, and application lifecycle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹438,504.11 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
