Role Overview: As a Software Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new and existing features. You will also be involved in testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements. Your focus will be on ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices and the overall performance of applications. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing new features - Maintaining and enhancing existing features - Testing and deploying code - Creating back-end components - Integrating user-facing elements - Designing user interactions on web pages - Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices - Ensuring performance of applications Qualifications Required: - 3 to 7 years of experience in web-based software development - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - Good verbal and written communication skills in English - Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code - Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github - Familiarity with MVC, REST - Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap framework - Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (MySQL) - Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Scrum) - Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu Additional Company Details: At our company, we value individuals who are passionate about building sophisticated yet user-friendly products.
