Description
Role Overview: As a Tech Lead at the company, you will be responsible for defining DSP, System, and Board architecture, creating proposals for new project inquiries, and effectively managing the team. Your role will involve partitioning algorithms for implementation in FPGA and/or software, identifying building blocks and Signal Processing functions, and providing estimates on FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth. Additionally, you will create module level details, maintain project documentation, provide customer support during integration phases, and contribute to design, verification, and validation methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Define DSP, System, and Board architecture - Create proposals for new project inquiries - Handle the team effectively - Partition algorithms for implementation in FPGA and/or software - Identify building blocks and Signal Processing functions - Provide estimates on FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth - Create module level details and perform peer reviews - Define, create, and maintain project-related documentation - Provide support to customers during integration phases at test sites - Create SRS and ATP for the system - Apply methodologies for design, verification, and validation - Define the architecture of RTL functions and partition algorithms - Conduct HDL coding and review - Perform simulation and implementation - Test on board and debug - Take ownership of projects including identifying risks, dependencies, tracking project schedules, engaging with customers, and conducting design reviews - Supervise and mentor at least 2 to 3 DE/SDEs - Manage the team effectively Qualifications Required: - Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication - 7 to 9 years of experience - Proficiency in VHDL - Experience with Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation - Thorough understanding of Xilinx FPGAs - Knowledge of Functional and Timing Simulation - Expertise in Logic Design & Debugging - Experience in VHDL/Verilog RTL Coding and System C/System Verilog - Familiarity with FPGA Synthesis & PAR Tools - Strong communication and presentation skills - Proficient in configuration/version control tools like SVN Desired Skill Set: - Experience in implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA environment for Radar and Electronic Warfare systems - Ability to interact with software and hardware teams to define architecture/system partitioning - Knowledge of FPGA development flow including micro-architecting, RTL coding, Synthesis & implementation flow, verification, and validation - Ability to model algorithms in Octave/MATLAB, generate test vectors, and visualize data - Familiarity with converting floating point modules to FPGA friendly fixed point modules - Knowledge of DSP Xilinx IP cores and customization options such as FFT, FIR, DDC, NCO, etc. - Understanding of interfacing with ADCs and DACs and interpreting their performance - Experience in transferring data from FPGA over sRIO, PCIe, Ethernet, and other protocols - Proficiency in configuration/version control tools like SVN This job offers you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the field of FPGA development while utilizing your technical skills and expertise in a dynamic team environment.,
