Role & responsibilities What is the role? Our Buildings business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialize in combining building services & intelligent automated systems. Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians (such as; Hospitals, Data Centers and Commercial buildings), to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to Hands on design experience of IBMS, SCADA, PLC, DDC, FAS & Security solution proposed for the Digital Buildings Portfolio. Role entails working full time on site to deploy customized engineering solutions as per customer requirements. • Work closely with the customer / consultant community to discuss technical solutions, build relationships within the community and leverage the right offer technically. • Work closely with Project / Sales managers across BU and work towards enabling closure of projects technically. • Work with as project team to deploy technical vital solution in the entire project cycle. • Good experience with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and presentation skills. • Sound knowledge of HVAC, Electrical services, Networking of IBMS • Sound understanding on various BMS protocols like Modbus IP, BACnet IP, OPC, MQTT, REST API, etc • Sound in maintaining documentation, sending weekly updates, executing large projects, having good know-how of standardization, libraries & their importance in the field of commissioning. • Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, VISIO and REVIT. Qualifications & Experience 4 Years BE/BTech/Bachelors degree in Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentations and Control, Electronics and communication, Electronics and Electrical/Mechanical • Minimum of 8 to 12 Years of relevant experience. Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Proven experience in BMS, IBMS, DDC, PA, CCTV, FAS, HVAC, GSS, Leak water Deduction & Security System with know-how of designing in field of fit outs, industry, buildings, data center. • Proven experience in CPM (Chiller Plant Manager) • Experience in selecting IT hardware, NW Hardware, Enclosures, cables, glands, trays etc.,as per RFQ and functional requirements • Designing PLC / BMS cabinet drawings • Ability to do moderate or complex program with sound knowledge of MEP services (HVAC, Electrical etc) Experience in preparing shop drawings, cable tray routing drawings, cable schedule, cable BOQ, glands and lugs BOQ • Experience in cable selection, sizing, selection of cable glands and lugs based on RFQ specs and requirement • Proficiency on M580HSBY PLC / DDC System is added advantage. • Knowledge and experience to work on Control Expert/ EBO/Power SCADA/Citect SCADA/Schneider Local HMI/Wonderware Intouch/ Wonderware System Platform is added advantage. • Work experience on soft communication – Modbus (RS 485), Modbus TCP/IP, CanOpen, Profinet, Profibus, BACnet, SNMP, OPC UA, OPC DA, IEC (61850,60870-5). • Understand the customer RFQs and should be able to design the system inline to that. • Good analytical skills to understand customer inputs and Engineering Drawings is mandatory. • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel and Power point. • Good communication skills (English - must & Hindi - Preferred.
