Job Description

As an ideal candidate for this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with AERB regulations and licensing requirements for all radiation facilities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting periodic radiation surveys and contamination checks in controlled and supervised areas. - Monitoring personnel exposure using TLD badges and maintaining dose records. - Investigating abnormal radiation exposure or incidents and reporting to AERB as per protocol. - Ensuring proper installation, calibration, and functioning of radiation-generating equipment. - Supervising safe storage, usage, and disposal of radioactive sources and waste. - Training and sensitizing hospital staff on radiation protection practices and emergency procedures. - Maintaining and updating all statutory documents, logbooks, and radiation safety manuals. - Liaising with AERB for approvals, renewals, and inspection coordination. - Ensuring radiation shielding adequacy and safety signage in all controlled areas.
