A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 6+ years of strong experience in IBM I / iSeries / AS400 and programming languages such as DB2 SQL, RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, RPG free. Superior programming skills that relate to code development, maintenance, and implementation Participate in scrum meetings to understand the project plans, requirements, collaborate with the team and stakeholders Must be actively participating in design and code reviews. Ensure high performing standards and thorough unit, functional and integration testing. Adhere to standardization of technical solutions and documentation of systems developed Communicate cross-functionally across various teams, internal and external stakeholders. Communicate impediments, delays, or technical issues to projects stakeholders. Work with Senior/Lead developers to document requirements, including business processes, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation. Interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team. Analyzing and reviewing code regularly. Perform functionality testing of peer code. A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and fix errors in complex code. Analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to perform tasks independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to deliver projects independently within timelines. Collaborate with BSA and peer developers and subject matter experts to understand the usability Resources should be able to work in an international environment US Client. Experience with ERP systems: Infor XA /MAPICS (PCC, PMC, CAS, MRP) Knowledge of IBM Rational Developer for I (IBM RDI), IBM Access Client Solutions (replacement for client access), and Ops Navigator tools. Knowledge of querying and reporting for DB2/400 and SQL Server databases. Knowledge of developing RESTful Webservices, SOAP, IBM WebSphere. Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats. Knowledge of Java development on IBM i. Knowledge of Change Management: Azure DevOps/Git, Mid-Range dynamics Change management system (MDCMS). Domain knowledge in Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Experience with Office Suite. Ability to use PowerPoint to visualize and communicate data, concepts, and ideas. Ability to use Visio to create system diagrams.
