**Job Title:** Room Service Steward

**Department:** Food & Beverage – In Room Dining (IRD)

**Location:** Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Andheri East, Mumbai

**Reports To:** Room Service Supervisor / F&B Manager

Job Summary:

The Room Service Steward is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms efficiently and professionally while ensuring high standards of hospitality. The role requires excellent communication, guest interaction, and adherence to hygiene and service protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

* Take and confirm guest orders through phone or in person, ensuring accuracy.

* Deliver food & beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously.

* Set up trays/trolleys in guest rooms following hotel standards.

* Clear trays and trolleys after service and maintain cleanliness.

* Ensure proper handling of food and beverages to maintain quality.

* Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the Room Service area.

* Assist in preparing trays, cutlery, condiments, and mise-en-place.

* Handle guest complaints politely and escalate to supervisors if required.

* Maintain records of orders and ensure proper billing procedures.

* Uphold hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in Food & Beverage / Room Service preferred (freshers welcome).

* Good communication skills (English/Hindi).

* Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.

* Knowledge of basic food & beverage service.

* Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
