This professional will be responsible for the soware development, control systems, and programming of the robotic plaorms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement algorithms for robot navigation, manipulation, and control
. Program using the Robot Operating System (ROS), including creating custom packages and nodes.
Required Qualications
Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related eld.
Experience:
ROS: In-depth knowledge of ROS1 and/or ROS2 is a must. This includes understanding topics, services, actions, and the overall ROS ecosystem.
Programming languages: Prociency in C++ and Python for robotics development.
Robotics concepts: Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and computer vision.
Linux: Experience working in a Linux environment, as ROS is primarily based on it. By hiring for these two distinct roles, you can build a more robust and specialized team that covers both the physical and computational aspects of robotics and automation.
