As part of our growth, we are looking for passionate Android Developer Intern with React Native focus to join our team and contribute hands-on to live projects. Role Overview As an Android Developer Intern , you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and optimize mobile applications. The role requires a strong foundation in Android development , proficiency in React Native , and a deep understanding of design patterns and mobile UI/UX best practices . This is a hands-on role where you’ll be coding, problem-solving, and collaborating on real-world projects, not just learning theory. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native with a strong focus on Android platform-specific features . Implement design patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP) for scalable and maintainable codebases. Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, responsive mobile interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with proper documentation. Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. Work with REST APIs, local storage, and third-party SDK integrations. Maintain version control using Git ( strong knowledge of git is required ) . Stay updated with the latest Android & React Native trends, libraries, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong foundation in Core Android Development (Java/Kotlin). Hands-on experience with React Native for building cross-platform apps. Solid understanding of design patterns and mobile architecture principles . Good knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Espresso, JUnit). Knowledge of App testing methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle concepts like threading, memory management, and app lifecycle. Proficiency in Git (branching, merging, pull requests, conflict resolution). Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, xml. Passion for learning, experimenting, and delivering high-quality work in a startup environment. Good to Have Experience with TypeScript in React Native projects. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps. Prior internship or project experience with published apps.
