Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Robotics R&D Intern to support the design, development, testing, and optimization of robotic systems. This role offers real-world exposure to robotic hardware, embedded systems, control algorithms, and AI-driven automation.

The intern will work closely with our robotics engineers and R&D team on innovative projects including humanoid robots, automation systems, and intelligent machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and testing of robotic systems
• Work on robot kinematics, motion planning, and control
• Support hardware integration including sensors, actuators, motors, and controllers
• Assist in embedded programming (microcontrollers, SBCs)
• Participate in PCB design, assembly, and debugging
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental data
• Support AI/ML or computer vision integration (basic level)
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, AI)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
• Robotics / Mechatronics / Electronics / Mechanical / Embedded Systems / AI
• Basic knowledge of:
• Robotics fundamentals
• Embedded systems and microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.)
• Programming languages: C/C++, Python
• Understanding of:
• Sensors & actuators
• Motors (DC, Servo, Stepper)
• Control systems (basic PID concepts)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with ROS / ROS2
• CAD tools (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.)
• PCB design tools (EasyEDA, Altium, KiCad)
• Computer Vision (OpenCV)
• AI/ML basics for robotics
• Prior robotics projects or competitions
