Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop, program and commission robotic systems (industrial robots, material-handling robots, vision systems, actuators) for vehicle manufacturing/assembly lines.
Work on integration of PLCs, HMIs, servo/stepper drives, sensors, vision systems and robots. Indeed+1
Support process qualification, calibration of systems (e.g., robot point calibration, vision calibration) and ensure robots meet production quality & throughput targets. Indeed
Troubleshoot, maintain and improve uptime of robotic/automation systems on the shop floor (fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: manufacturing, process engineering, controls engineering, maintenance.
Documentation, adhering to safety standards, ensuring automation meets company manufacturing standards.
Possibly support new automation projects: vendor development, cost optimization, installation & commissioning of new lines or robotic cells.
Stay updated with industry automation/robotics trends and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing systems.
