Job Description

As a Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our consumer-facing support services. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure a robust risk management culture throughout the organization.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong preference for a Masters degree in Risk Management or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on consumer-facing support services or financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools, such as risk assessment platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of risk management practices.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and a proactive approach to continuous learning.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a banking or financial services environment is highly advantageous.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential risks associated with consumer support services.
  • Develop and maintain risk management strategies, policies, and guidelines to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze risk data, trends, and emerging risks to provide timely insights and recommendations.
  • Implement risk-based controls and ensure their effectiveness in mitigating identified risks.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Provide risk management training and awareness programs to enhance risk culture across the organization.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulators to address risk-related queries and ensure compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively manage potential threats.
