Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 

• Monitor real-time client and dealer exposure across different segments like equity, derivatives, and commodities.

• Track margin shortfalls and ensure prompt rectification and communication.

• Set up and review trading limits based on margin availability and internal policies.

• Perform Beginning of Day (BOD) and End of Day (EOD) processes.

• Allocate trading limits and funds at the End of each trading day.

• Square off positions or handle margin calls when clients breach limits or have shortfalls.

• Coordinate with dealers, compliance, and back-office teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle client queries related to their positions, Margins and trades.

Work Experience Requirements (Skills) : 

• In-depth knowledge of equity, derivatives, commodity, and currency segments is essential.

• Risk management: Ability to assess risk, implement proactive measures, and understand processes like BOD (Beginning of Day) and EOD (End of Day) limit setting.

• Regulatory and compliance: Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements is crucial, along with the ability to adapt to changes.

• Technical skills: Proficiency in broking software (ODIN, OMNESYS) and strong skills in MS Excel and other office suites are often necessary.

• Soft skills: Excellent analytical, communication (both oral and written), and problem-solving skills.

• Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications like those offered by NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) are highly beneficial.
