Risk Data Validation & Control (RDV&C), AS

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Risk Data Validation & Control (RDV&C) team at Deutsche Bank, based in Pune, India. The team is responsible for quality assurance activities related to critical, complex, and technical risks and regulatory topics that impact the bank. As a member of the team, your key stakeholders will include Business Finance, Risk Management, Group Reporting, Regulatory Policy Adherence Group, and Production IT Support. Key Responsibilities: - Complete required month-end quality assurance controls and validate variances - Analyze Credit Risk RWA Exposure - Utilize exposure regulatory metrics - Calculate metrics such as CVA, EC, EL, and post them on relevant platforms - Conduct root cause analysis on exposure calculations using complex algorithms in the risk engine - Proactively manage investigation and resolution of month-end issues on regulatory metrics - Collaborate with stakeholders for root cause analysis and reporting - Provide subject matter expertise and analytics to support Finance and Risk teams - Present regulatory metrics to senior audiences globally - Participate in Change The Bank (CTB) initiatives - Focus on optimizing capital numbers Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ECB CRR, CRD, and Basel requirements - Understanding of exposure calculation under different models like SA-CCR and IMM - Familiarity with Exposure Metrics like EPE/EE and Statistical Modelling (Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.) - Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach - Experience in process change - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Organized and structured working approach - Attention to detail - Team player with the ability to work in an international environment - Preferred IT Skills: Python, Advanced Excel (VBA), Microstrategy, MS Access Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including a comprehensive leave policy, parental leaves, childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, employee assistance program, hospitalization insurance, accident, and term life insurance, health screening, training, and development opportunities, coaching from experts, and a culture of continuous learning.
