Job Summary:

The Revit MEP Modeler plays a crucial role in the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects. This position involves creating detailed and accurate 3D models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring that project specifications are met while enhancing collaboration among engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed Revit MEP models for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Perform clash detection and resolution exercises to minimize conflicts between MEP systems and other construction elements.
• Generate and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of project bids and cost estimates related to MEP systems.
• Stay updated on the latest Revit software features and industry trends to enhance modeling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior modelers and project team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit with a strong understanding of MEP design concepts and procedures.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP modeling within a consulting engineering or construction firm.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design codes and regulations.
• Excellent visualization skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other modeling software such as AutoCAD or Navisworks.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and best practices.
• Certification in Revit or a related professional qualification.
• Previous experience in sustainable design practices or energy-efficient systems.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous MEP modeling projects.
