Job Description

As a Revenue Manager for India & South Asia at ENGIE India, your role involves managing the S-P revenues of renewable, battery, thermal projects, and their combinations. Your key responsibilities include: - Maximizing the asset portfolio revenues in India & South Asia - Developing and implementing revenue maximization strategies for both merchant and non-merchant activities - Identifying market opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability - Being accountable for the S-P of assets - Providing market inputs to drive business development processes and customer-driven price expectations - Implementing new product offerings in collaboration with SEM, such as 24/7 products - Developing the revenue budget in coordination with Finance, Asset Management, and Partnerships - Mapping risks, co-designing risk mandates, and implementing risk management strategies - Tracking financial performance through daily S-P and risk KPIs - Monitoring, challenging, and proposing new power plant optimization strategies - Managing the interface with SEM, including contracts relationship - Ensuring optimization of all merchant revenue streams, capturing portfolio opportunities, and executing market and commercial strategies effectively - Deciding on hedging and commercial strategies in coordination with MDs of the countries - Tracking local regulatory and market developments and identifying opportunities for power plants - Contributing to the long-term valuation of power plants, especially for RES & BESS Qualifications required for this role include: - Deep expertise in the energy industry, risk management, energy markets, offtake agreements, investments, power marketing, and product structuring - Outstanding analytical skills with experience in advanced valuation and market models - Thorough understanding of the India & South Asia markets, renewable, and battery asset specificities - Advanced communication and presentation skills to explain complex structures to leadership - Strong networking and interpersonal skills to work efficiently in a matrix organization - Ability to dive into analytical details while synthesizing trends with a pragmatic mindset - Willingness to digitalize and structure data management for the benefit of others - Awareness of the cost-effectiveness and profitability needs of the business - Higher education, preferably a university degree in a quantitative area or relevant on-field experience - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - MBA with 8-15 years of relevant experience in the energy industry and a thorough understanding of India & South Asia markets and renewable/battery asset specifics This role falls under the Business Unit GBU Renewables & Flexible Power, Division R&B AMEA - India & South-East Asia, at ENGIE Energy India Private Limited.
