Job Description

As the Retail Sales Head, you will play a crucial role in driving retail revenue opportunities and leading a high-performing sales team. Your responsibilities will include: - **Develop and Execute National Sales Strategies:** - Identify target markets and create sales plans to capture retail revenue opportunities. - Set ambitious sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them. - **Lead and Manage Direct Sales Team:** - Hire, train, coach, and motivate sales professionals to meet sales targets. - Cultivate a culture of excellence and accountability within the sales team. - **Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships:** - Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions. - Foster long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty. - **Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance:** - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze sales data to make informed strategic decisions. - Identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them. - **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:** - Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives. - **Manage Direct Sales Budget:** - Develop and oversee budgets, control expenses, and ensure a positive return on investment. - **Stay Abreast of Industry Trends and Competitor Activity:** - Keep informed about market changes, new technologies, and competitor strategies. - **Support Deputy CEO and Zonal Business Heads:** - Assist in managing direct sales channels and converting retail revenue opportunities. Required Qualifications: - **Strong Leadership and Management Skills:** - Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams. - Ability to motivate and develop sales professionals. - **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills:** - Effective communication with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders. - Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships. - **Proven Track Record of Success in Sales:** - Experience in driving revenue growth, building sales teams, and achieving sales targets. - **Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills:** - Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and analyze sales performance. - **Understanding of Direct Sales Principles and Best Practices:** - Knowledge of direct sales strategies, sales techniques, and sales management practices. - **Strong Understanding of Target Market and Industry:** - Familiarity with the specific industry, customer base, and competitive landscape. - **Experience with CRM and Sales Tools:** - Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage sales performance.
