Job Description

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
Review prescriptions to ensure dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and storage.
Maintain and update patient medication records.
Monitor inventory levels, place medication orders, and manage expired or recalled medications.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Valid pharmacist license in West Bengal.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or hospital.
Proficiency with pharmacy software and systems.
