Job responsibilities :

1. Sales & Inventory Planning:

Plan seasonal buys based on sales trends, historical data, and store performance.

Maintain optimum inventory levels across stores to avoid overstock and stockouts.

Create weekly and monthly merchandise plans aligned with business goals.

2. Buying Support & Assortment Planning:

Work closely with the buying team on assortment selection.

Ensure correct size ratios and product mix for each store based on demographics and sales trends.

Review bestsellers and slow movers to drive timely decisions.

3. Allocation & Replenishment:

Ensure timely allocation of merchandise to stores.

Monitor daily inventory levels and coordinate replenishments.

Implement inter-store transfers to balance stock across locations.

4. Sales Analysis & Reporting:

Prepare weekly and monthly sell-through reports.

Analyze category performance, size curves, color trends, and regional trends.

Recommend markdowns, promotions, and liquidation strategies.

5. Store Communication & Coordination:

Coordinate with Store Managers for product feedback, size issues, and market demand.

Work with VM and Operations to ensure product visibility and stock availability

6. Forecasting & Budgeting:

Assist in seasonal forecasting and purchase budgets.

Track OTB (Open-to-Buy) and update management regularly

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Buying

Warehouse & Logistics

Sales & Operations

Support the planning of new store openings with assortments and inventory allocation

Key Skills Required:

Strong analytical and numerical ability

Knowledge of retail KPIs (Sell-through, ROS, Inventory Turn, GMROI)

Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)

Understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and category planning

Excellent communication & coordination skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
