Job Description

Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to deliver top-tier service.
  • Implement merchandising strategies and maintain visual standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and security procedures.
  • Prepare sales reports and present store performance to upper management.
  • Recruit, onboard, and evaluate new staff.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to optimize store strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and customer service metrics.
  • Proficiency in retail management.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and inventory management.
