As a Retail Manager in the textile industry, your role will involve overseeing the retail operations of the store. You will be responsible for managing the sales floor, supervising staff, ensuring top-notch customer service, and meeting sales targets while ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the store. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and supervise the daily operations of the textile retail store. - Monitor sales performance and strive to achieve monthly/annual sales targets. - Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Maintain appropriate stock levels, oversee inventory control, and coordinate with suppliers. - Train, motivate, and manage sales staff to provide exceptional service. - Implement effective merchandising and visual display strategies to enhance customer attraction. - Prepare sales reports, analyze market trends, and recommend improvements. - Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain store cleanliness, and uphold safety standards. - Plan promotional activities and seasonal sales campaigns. - Monitor billing, cash handling procedures, and ensure accurate financial transactions. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role, with a preference for textile experience. - Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and interpersonal abilities. - Good understanding of textile products, fabrics, and current fashion trends. - Ability to manage customer relations and effectively resolve issues. - Knowledge of sales reporting, stock management, and retail operations. - A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred. - Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include weekends and holidays.
