Position Overview

The Waiter plays a key role in delivering Artjuna’s signature guest experience by providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service. The position requires excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality in a high-volume café environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a welcoming attitude.
• Present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Ensure guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.

Order Management

• Input orders accurately into the POS system (Petpooja).
• Serve food and beverages according to Artjuna’s service standards.
• Handle bills, payments, and ensure accurate table settlements.

Operational Responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
• Follow hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.
• Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operation.

Guest Relations

• Build rapport with regular customers and assist new guests in understanding Artjuna’s menu.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and escalate issues to the manager when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a busy restaurant or café environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/other languages is a plus).
• Familiarity with POS systems (Petpooja preferred).
• Positive attitude, team player, and high level of personal hygiene.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualities

• Passion for food, coffee, and customer interaction.
• Punctual, reliable, and proactive in daily operations.
• Understanding of Mediterranean or healthy café-style service will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
