Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (midnight) {2-hour break in between is provided}

Role Overview

As a Restaurant Captain, you will be the face of our client’s dine-in and walk-in customers. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth dining experience by greeting guests, managing seating, taking orders, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining service standards. Your goal is to create a welcoming environment and ensure customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in the food and beverage (F&B) industry.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet and welcome walk-in and dine-in guests warmly.

· Upsell menu items to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service team during your shift.

· Take customer orders accurately and promptly, and ensure they are processed efficiently.

· Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu to assist customers with questions and make recommendations.

· Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the dining area before and during service.

· Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to any complaints or special requests

· professionally and promptly.

· Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order delivery.

· Manage table allocations during peak hours to minimize waiting times.

· Ensure billing accuracy and assist guests with the payment process.

· Train and guide junior staff as needed.

· ·Follow hygiene and safety standards as per restaurant policies.

Qualifications & Skills

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role in the food & beverage industry (3–5 years’ experience preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Friendly, energetic, and well-groomed with a customer-first attitude.
• Basic understanding of POS systems and billing procedures and Pet Pooja Software.
• Fluency in English and local languages (Kannada, Hindi preferred).
• Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
