Restaurant Captain

Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and ensure they are seated comfortably Take and confirm orders accurately, ensure timely service delivery Supervise waiters/waitresses and assign table responsibilities Maintain order and discipline among service staff Handle guest queries, feedback, or complaints professionally Ensure table setup, cleanliness, and proper presentation Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery Upsell menu items and promote ongoing offers to customers Maintain billing accuracy and coordinate with cashier/POS Train new staff on service standards and etiquette 📋 Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of experience in restaurant service / hospitality Fluent in English/Hindi, (Tulu/Kannada is a plus) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership qualities and confidence to manage a team Pleasant personality, professional grooming, and etiquette Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment ⏱️ Working Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day 6-day work week with rotational weekly off Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays 👗 Uniform & Presentation: Uniform will be provided Must maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance at all times 🎯 Performance Indicators: Guest satisfaction and feedback Table turnover efficiency Team coordination and professionalism Upselling and communication
